Welcome to our wedding website. We are thrilled at the prospect of getting everyone together in September to see us get hitched during a nice, long Catholic mass. But not to worry! It will be followed by an evening of eating, drinking, dancing and general mischief. We’ll be adding more to thIs site in the coming days regarding where to stay and what to do, as well as varied tales of our wedding planning adventures, so keep checking back. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you, and hope that you’ll join us on this special day.
Much love,
Jess and Ryan
By subway: Take the 1 or 2 train to Christopher Street/Sheridan Sq. and walk west on Christopher St. (just over three blocks).
By car: Take the West Side Highway and exit at Morton Street. Left on Greenwich, left again on Christopher.
This is a picture of the church, located on the north side of the street at 149 Christopher. Somebody apparently got a FedEx that day:

Pinpointed are the garages between that exist in the area between the church and Ramscale. There is also on-street and metered parking in the neighborhood.

There will be a break of about an hour and a half between the ceremony and the reception. You’re welcome to sit through another mass at 5 (en Español), or you could check out any of the following:
The former West Side elevated tracks are now an aerial greenway. Jess and I will actually be heading over here to take pictures, and we encourage you to hop in a cab and join us. Gawk at the locals in the Meatpacking district, catch the exhibitionists staying at the Standard Hotel. There’s a pretty decent gelato vendor up there, too.
Hudson River Greenway
Head west on Christopher, then stroll north along the Hudson River on your way up to the reception. Watch out for the bikes crossing the bike path!
Magnolia Bakery Map here
Popularized by Sex and the City. Delicious cupcakes that you don’t have to be a skinny woman in expensive shoes to enjoy.
Window shopping in the West Village
Greenwich Village is one of New York’s most storied neighborhoods, offering plenty to look at at every turn. We encourage you to wander a bit. There’s plenty of shopping as you head north toward the reception loft along streets like Greenwich and Hudson, and east towards Bleecker. In between those thoroughfares, on streets like Charles and Perry, are some of the most beautiful blocks in the city, with well-kept prewar residential buildings and cafes and restaurants interspersed. Should be a great time of year for a Village stroll…
Bars
If you feel like getting the party started a little early, bars abound in the Village. Here are a few recommendations:
The Rusty Knot Map here
Natuical-themed with Tiki drinks like Zombies and Mai Tais. For the yacht rocker in all of us.
The White Horse Tavern Map here
Established in 1673 as a tavern by William Mayes Sr., the White Horse began its life as a primary meeting place for the Colonial General Assembly, because it’s always best to be crocked when making decisions of major political import. Perhaps best-known as the place where Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, author of “Fern Hill” and “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” drank himself to death. We encourage you to drink responsibly.
Employees Only Map here
Classic cocktails done right. Good wine selection. Relaxed, speakeasy-style setting.
Library-themed, continental hotel-style bar. Leather and wood paneling. Outdoor seating.
Arthur’s Tavern Map here
Mildly-divey jazz club. Might be able to catch an early piano player or trio.
Getting from the church to the reception:
A) St. Veronica’s
B) Ramscale
If you plan to walk from the church to Ramscale for the reception, we encourage you to walk up either Washington or Greenwich Sts., turning left on Bethune, as opposed to taking West St. (the West Side Highway). Alternatively, the waterfront is also an option. It’s continuous green parkspace with a walking path and views of the Hudson the entire way.
Ashley Bininger is Jess’ matron of honor and her best friend. She’s also a little frazzled. She needs wine.

Meghan Kirsch is Jess’ cousin and oldest friend. The eldest of the formidable Kirsch sisters is one tough customer, evidenced here as we see her being cuffed by the bloated corpse of Steven Segal.
Ian Ritter is the owner of Huy Fong Foods Inc. and the inventor of Sriracha Hot Sauce. He’s also the groom’s best man. Here he is outside one of his plants in lovely Rosemead, Calif.
Trent Andler is the groom’s brother and the lead singer in an R&B group called Trent and the Smooth Vests.
